How do I get a quote?

Call us or use the contact form. We'll ask a few quick questions, set up a site visit, measure the work, and send you a written quote within a few business days. Small repairs can sometimes be quoted directly from photos and measurements you send over — just depends on the scope.

Is the site visit free?

Yes, for standard residential and commercial quote visits within our normal service area. If your project involves a long drive to an outlying area or requires detailed measurement and take-off work for a formal bid package, we'll talk about it upfront.

Do you handle just drywall, or do you manage other trades too?

Primarily drywall: framing, boarding, taping, mudding, texture, finishing, and related repairs. We don't act as a general contractor on full renovations — but we work well with your GC if you have one, and we can coordinate directly with other trades on smaller projects where you don't.

What finish level do you deliver?

Our standard residential and commercial work is delivered at a Level 4 finish — joints and fasteners covered with three coats of compound, sanded smooth, ready for primer. For spaces with critical lighting, gloss paints, or gallery-grade conditions, we upgrade to Level 5 with a full skim coat.

How long will my project take?

It depends on the scope. A small repair might be half a day. A finished basement typically runs one to two weeks from framing through final sanding, depending on size and weather (mud takes longer to dry in winter). A whole-home reno is coordinated with the GC's overall schedule. We commit to a window on the quote and update you if anything changes.

How do you handle dust?

Plastic on floors and finished surfaces, zip walls at openings where dust travels, sealed-off HVAC returns in the work area, and dust-collecting sanders connected to HEPA vacuums. We're not going to pretend sanding drywall is a clean activity, but we do everything reasonable to keep the rest of the house liveable while we work.

Do you work with homeowners directly, or only with contractors?

Both. Roughly half our work is direct-to-homeowner (basements, renovations, repairs) and half is through general contractors on larger residential and commercial projects.

Are you insured?

Yes — full commercial general liability and WSIB coverage. Certificates available on request before we start work.

Do you offer any warranty?

We stand behind our work. If a seam cracks, a nail pops, or a finish fails because of something we did — come back to us and we'll make it right. We can't warranty issues caused by water leaks, foundation movement, or other trades working after us, but we'll help you figure out what's what.

Can you match an existing ceiling texture?

Almost always, yes. Orange peel, knockdown, stipple, California texture, and smooth finishes can all be matched with some testing. We'll spray a sample patch, compare it to the existing surface, adjust, and only commit when you can't tell the difference.

Do you remove popcorn ceilings?

Yes. We scrape, skim-coat, sand, and prime to deliver a flat ceiling ready for paint. If the popcorn is older (pre-1990s in many Ontario homes), we always recommend a quick asbestos test first — we can point you toward a testing lab if you haven't done it.

Do you do soundproofing?

Yes — home theatres, shared walls in semis, nurseries next to noisy spaces, and commercial demising walls. Resilient channel, double-layer drywall with Green Glue, QuietRock, staggered-stud assemblies, and acoustic sealant at all the right places. We build to whatever STC target you're trying to hit.

Can you start soon?

Usually. Our booking window varies by season — spring and fall tend to be busier. Call or email, tell us what you need, and we'll be straight with you about the earliest realistic start date.

Do you handle insurance-claim repair work?

Yes, particularly water-damage restoration after a leak or flood. We can work directly with your insurance adjuster and provide detailed itemized quotes that match claim documentation requirements.

What payment methods do you accept?

E-transfer, cheque, and credit card on larger projects. Payment schedule for larger jobs is typically milestone-based — deposit, progress draw mid-job, and final payment on completion. The specifics are always written into the quote before work starts.

Do you work weekends?

Saturdays are a regular work day for us. Sundays are off except in emergency situations. Most commercial projects require off-hours work at some point, and we can accommodate that on a planned basis.
